The single greatest challenge faced by any serious candle-maker, is finding the perfect wick... and when it comes to making beeswax candles you can multiply that by a factor of 10 because there is very little global know-how when it comes to beeswax candles.
When we decided that we wanted to launch a pure Australian beeswax tealight, we tested over 120 different wicks which took five months! We are happy with this kit to share them with you.
In your kit you'll get the candle supplies you need to make 50 x 4 hour tealight candles. You will also need a metal pouring vessel (we use an enamel pot available from any camping store) and a thermometer (a candy thermometer or digital thermometer can be bought at any kitchenware store).
